DESCRIPTION
Biological Activity: 5-CFDA is a cell-permeable fluorescent dye. It is non-fluorescent until hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases to form fluorescent 5-carboxyfluorescein (5-FAM), allowing cell labeling and tracing in studies such as cell viability, proliferation, migration, and invasion.
