DESCRIPTION
Bioactivity: 5-TAMRA, maleimide exhibits strong red-orange fluorescence and specific reactivity toward thiol groups. It is widely used in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry for imaging. Its ability to covalently bind to cysteine residues in proteins or peptides enables specific labeling of thiol-containing molecules. Additionally, it demonstrates excellent photostability, resisting bleaching during prolonged observation. Ex/Em (nm) = 543/575.
