DESCRIPTION
Biological Activity: 8-(4-Nitrophenyl) BODIPY exhibits certain reactivity. Both the boron-dipyrromethene core and the 4-nitrophenyl moiety can participate in chemical reactions. For example, the nitro group can be reduced to an amino group under appropriate conditions, and the boron atom or pyrrole ring may react with nucleophiles.
