DESCRIPTION
BODIPY FL EDA (free base) is a green-fluorescent amine probe that reacts with aldehydes or ketones to form reversible Schiff base adducts. Upon reduction with agents such as sodium borohydride or sodium cyanoborohydride, stable amine derivatives are formed. It is suitable for detecting modified or unmodified deoxynucleotides and assessing DNA damage and genomic DNA methylation. Excitation/Emission (nm) = 500/510.
