DESCRIPTION
Biological Activity: Rhod-2 (potassium salt) is a water-soluble red fluorescent Ca2+ indicator. It exhibits a significant change in fluorescence intensity upon Ca2+ binding (ex max = 549 nm in the absence of Ca2+; ex/em max = 552/581 nm when Ca2+-bound).
