DESCRIPTION
Sulfo-Cy5 DBCO contains both a DBCO (dibenzocyclooctyne) group and a sulfonated Cy5 fluorophore. The DBCO group enables copper-free click chemistry with azide-containing compounds—fast, mild, and biocompatible. The sulfonation confers excellent water solubility, and the compound emits far-red fluorescence under fluorescence microscopy. Ex/Em(nm)=647/668.
