Biological Activity: MitoTracker Green is a green fluorescent dye that selectively accumulates in the mitochondrial matrix. MitoTracker Green FM covalently binds to mitochondrial proteins via reaction with free thiol groups on cysteine residues, allowing mitochondrial labeling independent of membrane potential.
