Cyanine5 Carboxylic Acid, a non-activated near-infrared fluorophore (ex/em 649/670 nm). Non-sulfonated reagent exhibiting excellent solubility in organic solvents (e.g., DMSO, DMF) and limited aqueous solubility. This stable dye serves as a non-reactive tracer for control experiments, calibration standards, and fluorescence quantification.
For amine conjugation applications, use Cyanine5 NHS Ester or water-soluble sulfo-Cyanine5 NHS Ester. Store desiccated at -20°C protected from light.
