DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5 Trans-Cyclooctene, a bioorthogonal near-infrared reagent (ex/em 649/670 nm) featuring strained trans-cyclooctene for ultrafast inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reactions with tetrazines. Non-sulfonated with excellent organic solubility and limited aqueous compatibility. Enables copper-free, time-sensitive conjugation for live-cell imaging and in vivo tracking.
For aqueous applications, use sulfo-Cyanine5 Tetrazine. Store under argon at -80°C to preserve TCO reactivity.
