DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5.5 Azide is a click chemistry reagent (ex/em 675/694 nm) for copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with terminal alkynes. This non-sulfonated near-infrared dye enables efficient bioorthogonal labeling while maintaining excellent fluorescence properties for deep-tissue imaging applications. Exhibits high solubility in organic solvents (e.g., DMSO) and limited aqueous compatibility.
For water-soluble applications, use sulfo-Cyanine5.5 Azide. Store desiccated at -20°C protected from light.
