DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5.5 Tetrazine is a bioorthogonal near-infrared reagent (ex/em 675/694 nm) for inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reactions with trans-cyclooctene (TCO) or bicyclononyne (BCN). This non-sulfonated probe enables rapid (<5 min), copper-free conjugation for live-cell imaging and in vivo tracking, while maintaining Cy5.5's deep tissue penetration and low autofluorescence.
For aqueous applications, use sulfo-Cyanine5.5 Tetrazine. Store under argon at -80°C to preserve reactivity.
