DESCRIPTION
Cyanine5.5 DBCO is a copper-free bioorthogonal reagent (ex/em 675/694 nm) for strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) with azide-containing molecules. This non-sulfonated near-infrared dye features a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group enabling rapid, catalyst-free conjugation under physiological conditions. Exhibits excellent solubility in organic solvents (e.g., DMSO) and limited aqueous compatibility for live-cell and in vivo imaging.
For enhanced water solubility, use sulfo-Cyanine5.5 DBCO. Store under argon at -80°C protected from light.
